Clielli is a beautiful mythical princess in the days of Camelot and the Knights of the Round Table. In the Castle, she watches from above as a handsome Prince from a far away land rides into the Courtyard. Their eyes lock and she gives him her heart. They fall in love, but unbeknownst to her, his heart was not free to give as his destiny lie back with his kingdom and an arranged marriage.

Au dessus des amants qui dormant (Above the lovers in their bed)
Les Anges regardent avec les visages qui pleurent. (The Angels watch them with faces that cry).

Enlances, les amants sont couches pendant que derriere eux (In ecstatic bliss, the lovers lay entwined, while behind them),
Le Chandelle d’Ange brule ou noir (the Angel Candle burns to black)

Elle lui a donner son tender Coeur (She gave to him her tender heart),
Mais tragicement le sienne etait ailleurs. (But tragically, his was promised elsewhere).

Le jour se leve, et dans sa douleur. (The day arrives that in her grief)
Elle dois jeter son Prince dans la pluie. (She casts out her Prince into the rain ).

Et puis, elle se jete dans la riviere de l’armes (And then, she throws herself into the river of tears.)
